I have observed many, many speakers and workshop leaders over my years at my organization, Omega Institute. I'm always on the lookout for presenters who combine useful knowledge and powerful communication skills with wit, warmth, authenticity and humility. A tall order! It's always a thrill when I meet someone who has all the ingredients of a great teacher. Alexandra Solomon is one of them.

Alexandra Solomon is an insightful and engaging resource whose knowledge of intimacy and vulnerability in relationships had a profound impact on our YPO audience. Most important she is a delight to work with and a truly generous speaker who i would highly recommend for any audience.

Dr. Solomon provided a clear and insightful training for therapists in her peer association on dating and mating in the age of social media. She was an excellent and informed speaker on an ever-changing but always relevant topic.

Professor Solomon was nominated by hundreds of students to give the Last Lecture, a longstanding Senior Week tradition for the Northwestern class of 2015. Her talk was thoughtful and her ability to keep a crowd enthralled was obvious as 700 students in a bar kept their attention on her the whole time.

Alexandra’s reputation as a speaker is built on her ability to connect with audiences across generations and across professional and educational backgrounds in a way that is insightful, warm, relevant and action oriented. Her speaking engagement, “Dating Mating & Marrying in the Age of Social Media,” at Microsoft’s downtown Chicago office to over 150 attendees continues to have lasting impact on those who attended and on our organization.

At an event with nearly 1,000 members of our graduating class, Professor Solomon found the perfect balance between informative and entertaining through her lecture on our post-college relationships. She provided us with just the advice and reassurance we needed as we began the transitions into the next phases of our lives. Our cheers and complete engrossment in her speech were indicative of how well Professor Solomon was able to read the needs and wants of her audience.
